Is spirituality needed?

I heard how spirituality is needed to nourish the soul, just like how food is needed to nourish the body. So I have been looking into it.

I have been walking around in circles, and I have noticed a pattern. Whenever a person is too consumed by worldly external life, sooner or later the person would become incontent, break down and self destruct. Some sort of inner development or spirituality is need to maintain a healthy mind. I realised that spirituality is important to nourish the spirit, just as how food is need to nourish the body.

If there is no positive development from within, one become like a empty vessel or a vessel filled with dirt. If there is positive changes within, the whole aspect of life would improve.

A lot of people are in anti-depressant pills, they feel depress because they see and feel no light, no light within, they are usually brought up in society that concerns material riches and external life, they feel incomplete inside.

The word spirituality is very vague, some may be more than others, some may define it differently... but it all begins with becoming a better person, to not harms others and treat others with mutual respect. Character and morality sets the foundation for an inward spiritual journey.
