Last night, I was watching Dragon Ball, and there was a scene when a giant snake was chasing after Goku and Goku out smarted the giant snake by flying around until the snake tied it self into a knot. I could not help but to consider using this as a good metaphor to describe how deviant, sly and manipulative people will one day fall prey to their own deceit.
If the mind is constantly manipulative, thinking of twisting, turning and tricking, it will one day confuse and blurred itself. The emotions and subconscious mind manifest in what it usually experience and see, and if what it see is full of twist, turns and confusion, the mind will end up twisted, turned and confused.
Just like if a person build strong hate for others, the hatred builds inside the mind and soon one will find one hating one self.
If one constantly feed others with falsehood, falsehood will grow in one's mind and will oneday engulf the person.
If one twist and manipulate others, their twisted mind will twist themselves.
Like wise, if one try to slyly manipulate and confuse others, the mind becomes complicated and scattered, and oneday that will create confusion and the people will manipulate themselves.
Avoid using your intelligence to rationalize the wrong you have done. Many intelligent people fall prey to their own petty intellgence, harming themselves if they do not have virtue and wisdom. Intelligence with out virtue and wisdom leads to the path of destruction. Virtue and wisdom is the road to a bright path.
Honesty, straight forward thinking and sincerity is the way to go for a bright path. If you are true to yourself, then clarity, wisdom and light grows.
