Implication of diversity

I am aware we are living in a world that is nolonger simple like the old days. We are living in the age of vast exposure of information via TV, internet, media etc. Furthermore we are living a globalized age, where we all exposed to different cultures, beliefs and mentality. Whether it is ultimately a good or a bad thing, I cannot conclude. But one thing that may be certain is that over exposure and stimulation may lead to various psychological or social implications.

What happens if we are exposed to a few dozens of different cultures? Do we accept it all and take it into our lives? Do we mix those cultures together? Do we respect it and leave it alone?

What happens to our mind when it is overly exposed and stimulated? There is little stability in a mind that is overwhelmed by so many cultures and ways of life. In fact, it may leads to scatterness and confusion. So sanity would naturally favour humans to dwell in a very few selected culture or way of life.

Yet, I have not drawn any conclusions yet.
