I have discovered that it is fruitless to know some much wisdom and academic knowledge, but to be lacking of virtue as a good human, such as filial, respecting our teachers and spiritual advisors, brotherhood, loyality etc...
A better person is a good human with virtue and not a well spoken person who can only parrot words from the wise but do not live up to.
