Found your ground?

"Found your ground? (You may need to) find your ground before you venture off.

In life, it can be easy to lose your ground, as you see so many things around you and feel pressured and expected to be someone or have something. Thoughts like "am I good enough? should I be like this or have that?" arise to triggers you to explore.

Changes is good, but the problem of being overly fickle is that it's easy to lose yourself whilst venturing off without grounding yourself. There are some of us who would easily fall for that mistake because some of us would trade ourself to win for our petty egos without realising it or do so intentionally. As time goes by, it would drive a person crazy if they constantly change their mode, state of mind, persona, way of life, lifestyle etc... without having their own ground to stand on. Especially in a very multiculturally diverse place with various trends, social group etc... it is very easy to lose yourself.

The next question is how do you know your ground or natural/stable zone? I don't have a clear answer for that now, but I would assume it is different for everyone as everyone have their own different experiences and character.

I can only guess that it should be something that is natural to you, comfortable, stable and bring that sense of calmness and peace of mind. A sense of home?

But still, don't be rigid and fixed, as time goes by, you will change and so will your ground change, when your old ground for the new.

Words from someone... about work

These are not accurately his words but the ideas are more or less there:

Everyone is going through the same boat, everyone is stressing, you are not the only one.

Don't waste time worrying and stressing about work... use your time to productively do work and make use out of it, because the more you do your work, the more you know, the more confident you will be. Don't let the cycle of worrying, lazy, reluctant to do your work, think of doing it tomorrow (that doesn't happen) which put you in more pressure and stress as the work pile up. Break the cycle and do the work now. "Be focus".

Don't waste your time on that small fraction of work, know how to allocate your time effectively so you can focus on other things.

Everyone is clever-ish, everyone can do it!

Once you taste your achievements, you will like it and have confident and want more. Keep the progress going!

Emotion is natural but should be controlled to some extent

emotion is emotion
every humans has emotions
we shouldn't deny emotions
it's ok to be happy
or sad
it's natural
but we have some control over it
so it won't completely take over

Learn to deal with bitter people

Some people starts off innocent, friendly and kind to others.
As time goes by they start to encounter horrible people with rude manners (due to mental afflictions cause by distressful environment etc...)
So these friendly kind hearted people become defensive and shock
and eventually may even become bitter, cold, stern or even mean to others.
However, the person can learn to escape from this negative response and handle it postively.
Being bitter and mean isn't the only way to deal with being abuse.
One should learn to recognize and be mindful of rude, mean trouble makers
Learn to ignore them and stay away from them
Learn to be patient
Learn to let go of the afflictions and ill will against them
Basically learn to be immune to them and not waste time of them unless it is for the best spiritual benefits.

Just how we learn that certain things can be not wholesome like out of date milk,
We don't need to hate it and be bitter to it like an immature person
wasting our energy, time, emotion and life on such thing.
Just know it, ignore it, avoid it, let it go and be at peace.
Take negative experiences as a way to grow more mature and sensible, to handle things appropiately. That is wisdom.

Do not trade your calmness, peace, dignity, kindness and virtue (light)
for anger, bitterness and revenge (dark).
Grow positively through these experience with mindfulness, patience, forgiveness, letting go and tranquility through these experiences.
Handle the situation positively, growing your virtue and wisdom.

The power of Hope

"Where there is a will, there is a way"

I never really dwell on this phase with much insight before, but there are some truths to it.

"'Where there is will, there is hope'.
The power of will is important,
it is the initiator of changes,
it is the driving force behind changes.

Without will, there is no hope.
Without will, one will not wish to change,
without will, doors of opportunity will be closed,
without will, there be no hope.

May the power of will for wholesomeness be with us,
standing strong and firm,
like the mountain against the wind.
Where there is will, there is hope."

Feed back for space and motion

As it seems, as time goes by, we find more similarities between the western rational philosophical approach, modern science and the eastern spiritual approach. This site nicely blend those ideas together into a rational and well rounded structure. The great ideas are certainly there, although the next missing step is "how" to reach to this unified interconnected experience. I believe that is beyond mere conceptual understanding, but requires a rather more spiritual approach.

Yet still, to grasper the ideas should have a positive effect on person's psych and life hopefully.

Establishing our vehicle

Wherefore, brethren, thus must ye train yourselves : Liberation of the will through love will develop, we will often practice it, we will make it vehicle and base, take our stand upon it, store it up, thoroughly set it going.’ (Buddha)

We are interconnected

One will grow wiser, as one will realise that everything is this world is intereconnected somehow, (call it what you want; Wave Atructure of Matter, spirit, energy, light, chi, tao etc...). As one understand that the world is interconnected, understanding of the moral foundation,'Do unto others as to thyself' exist.

Life is fragile

"Life is fragile,,,body is fragile,,,, in order to exist in this world,,, we need a healthy body... but when the body dies,,, we are ''gone''
in order to exist,, we need our body but where will we go after this,,,after our body dies" ~ Michelle Tay
